Mataram, 26 May 2025 – The “Kaderisasi Camp” activity, which is a work program of the POK Department of the Student Association of the Biology Education Study Program (HMPS Pendidikan Biologi), Universitas Mataram, was successfully held from 24 to 25 May 2025. Taking place at Goa Lawah Narmada, the event was attended by 43 participants from the Biology Education Department. The camp carried the theme “Facing Challenges and Achieving Organizational Goals” with a sub-theme relevant to the Kaderisasi Camp activity.
The camp featured one speaker who discussed the importance of a Growth Mindset and how to manage failure, and three additional speakers who talked about the dynamics of the student association (HMPS) over time, followed by a sharing session. The main speaker was Aswangga Abigail Hidayat, while the other speakers were Sugih Akbar Hidayar, Lalu M. Zidan Cahyadi, and Sahirudin, all students of the Biology Education Program, FKIP Universitas Mataram. The four shared valuable experiences on building personal branding and imparted leadership knowledge.
Kaderisasi Camp is part of the cadre development process aimed at fostering solidarity, enhancing teamwork, and strengthening the bond among participants. The event ran with great enthusiasm and energy. One of the activities was the bola sarung (sarong ball) game, which involved all participants in a competitive yet fun atmosphere. This game not only entertained but also trained teamwork and group coordination.
Afterward, a gift exchange session took place, filled with warmth and closeness, providing a moment to get to know each other better. All participants also enjoyed a communal meal, which served as a bonding activity in a relaxed and familial atmosphere. As night approached, the activities continued with a night expedition (jurit malam), testing participants’ mental resilience, courage, and teamwork. They were challenged to complete specific tasks while upholding values of solidarity and discipline.
The entire event ran smoothly and successfully. It is hoped that the experiences gained from this Kaderisasi Camp will become valuable provisions for participants in carrying out their future roles and responsibilities.
