Semarang, July 5, 2024 – One of the efforts by the Biology Education Program at Unram to enhance its tri dharma performance is by establishing collaborations with programs at other universities. One such collaboration is with the Biology Education Program and the Biology Program of FMIPA Unnes. The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Agreement (IA) took place on July 4, 2024, at the Dean’s Building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Unnes. The MoA was signed by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni of FKIP Unram, Dr. Muh Makhrus, M.Pd, with the Dean of FMIPA Unnes, Prof. Dr. Edy Cahyono, M.Si., accompanied by the PKKM task force team of the Biology Education Program represented by the team leader Dr. Baiq Sri Handayani, M.Pd, and Prof. Dr. Gito Hadiprayitno, S.Pd., M.Si., Mr. Heru Setiawan, S.Pd., M.Si., and Mrs. Eni Suyantri, S.Si., M.Pd.
Both parties agreed to conduct joint research activities, implement the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program, and engage in community service. The implementation of the MBKM collaboration begins with the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) involving four students from the Biology Education Program at Unram to the Biology Education and Biology Programs at Unnes. The Independent Student Exchange Program is planned to last for one odd semester in the Academic Year 2024/2025, with students expected to complete 22 credits. During the meeting, there were also discussions on the potential for collaboration in research and community service at Mount Rinjani National Park, including a Rinjani expedition in collaboration with TNGR. International Geoscience and Geopark. The collaboration between the two parties is expected to complement and strengthen the respective advantages of each institution, as well as contribute to the development of local resource potential.
