Mataram, January 9, 2025- Nahdlatul Wathan University (UNW) Mataram conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Mataram (Unram) with the main objective of studying the implementation of the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) at FKIP Unram. This visit is expected to provide valuable insights into the facilities and infrastructure, policies, and human resources involved in the PPG program.

The UNW Mataram delegation was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Lalu Muhammad Nazar Fajri, SE, M.Pd., who was accompanied by the Vice Dean 1 and the UNW Mataram PPG team. They were warmly welcomed by the Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., along with the Coordinator of the Teacher Education Program in Position (PPG Daljab) of the University of Mataram, Dr. Baharuddin, M.Hum., and the Head of PPG FKIP Unram, Dr. H. Dadi Setiadi, M.Sc.

In his speech, the Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., expressed his welcome to the UNW Mataram PPG team. He instructed the Unram PPG team to share the information needed and invited all parties to learn together to build better cooperation in the future.

"This collaboration is very important to improve the quality of education in both universities. We hope this visit can be the first step for closer collaboration," said Dr. Lalu Zulkifli.

This visit is expected to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions and provide benefits for the development of educational programs in each university. By sharing experiences and knowledge, FKIP Unram and UNW Mataram are committed to jointly improving the quality of teacher education in Indonesia.(thor)
