Mataram – The<\/strong> Faculty of Teacher Training and Education<\/a> (FKIP) of Mataram University<\/a> received a visit from Abu Bakar Islamic High School Yogyakarta<\/strong> on Thursday, February 6, 2025<\/strong>. The group consisting of 150 students<\/strong> and 10 accompanying teachers<\/strong> was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Muh. Makhrus, M.Pd.<\/strong>who represented the Dean of FKIP Unram.<\/p>\n

In his speech, the representative of the principal of Abu Bakar Islamic High School Yogyakarta apologized for the delay in arrival which was originally planned on February 5, but could only be carried out on February 6 due to travel constraints. He also expressed his gratitude for the extraordinary welcome from FKIP Unram. “Our main goal is to motivate students so that they are more eager to continue their education to a higher level,” he said. <\/p>\n

FKIP Unram as a Superior Choice for Higher Education<\/strong>
\nIn his speech, Dr. Muh. Makhrus, M.Pd.<\/strong> expressed his appreciation for this visit and explained the various advantages of FKIP University of Mataram. He emphasized that FKIP Unram has received many students from various provinces in Indonesia. Currently, FKIP has 15 study programs<\/strong>, consisting of 10 undergraduate programs, 3 master programs, 1 doctoral program, and the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

“Of our 15 study programs, 12 have achieved excellent accreditation<\/strong>. This year, we are working towards international accreditation<\/strong> as part of our commitment to improving the quality of education,” he explains.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In addition to academic excellence, FKIP Unram also has a unique approach to ecotourism as part of curriculum development and research. Universitas Mataram itself continues to develop for the better, as evidenced by the prestigious achievement in 2023, where Unram was ranked 3rd in the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for the category of Public Service Agency Universities (PT BLU)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\nAt the end of his speech, Dr. Muh. Makhrus, M.Pd.<\/strong> invited the students of Abu Bakar Islamic High School Yogyakarta to consider FKIP Unram as a further study option.
