Mataram, August 6\u20137, 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education<\/a> (FKIP) at the University of Mataram<\/a> conducted a Field Assessment (AL) for its Master\u2019s Program in Elementary Education, welcoming two assessors from the Independent Accreditation Board for Education (LAMDIK), Prof. Dr. Sri Utaminingsih, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Dr. Gede Wira Bayu, S.Pd., M.Pd.<\/p>\n

The event began with remarks from the Rector of the University of Mataram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., who highlighted the university\u2019s remarkable achievements in recent years. \u201cWe recently faced a flood disaster, yet thanks to strong collaboration and teamwork, its impact was barely visible. A few years ago, we only had three study programs with an excellent accreditation status, but now we have more than 30. This is not merely about numbers, but about the quality we continue to build,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

The Rector also shared significant progress in Unram\u2019s journey toward becoming a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH)<\/strong>. \u201cOur score has reached 321.56, surpassing the threshold of 300. However, we have not yet applied because we are focusing on increasing revenue sources, so we are not solely dependent on tuition fees. Once our income targets are met, we will immediately proceed to PTNBH status,\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n<\/div>

In addition, the Rector emphasized Unram\u2019s financial and institutional performance: ranked first among PTN BLU universities in budget absorption, second nationally in budget performance, awarded an A for performance accountability, and consistently receiving an unqualified opinion (WTP) from the State Audit Board. Unram was also named the best BLU in budget performance by the Indonesian Minister of Finance. Academically, the university now has 124 professors, including 26 from FKIP, making it the faculty with the highest number of excellently accredited study programs. <\/p>\n

\u201cFKIP, particularly the Master\u2019s Program in Elementary Education, must continuously seek input and constructive criticism for improvement. We believe that good deeds will bring good results, and vice versa,\u201d the Rector concluded.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the first assessor, Prof. Dr. Sri Utaminingsih<\/strong>, expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from Unram. \u201cIt is extraordinary that the Rector himself could attend despite his very busy schedule. Please keep us in your prayers so that this field assessment runs smoothly, and that all data can be verified and confirmed,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

The second assessor, Dr. Gede Wira Bayu<\/strong>, emphasized the core principle of assessors\u2019 work. \u201cAssessors are companions, not people who take advantage of their position. Our principle is to walk alongside and synergize for the advancement of Indonesian education. We aim to accommodate key points that have a major impact, and even if we need to stay up late, at least it will be for something meaningful,\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n

This field assessment reflects FKIP Unram\u2019s ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality, ensure accountability, and uphold its commitment to the university\u2019s vision of becoming a world-class
