In facing Generation Z (Gen Z), learning must be designed in a blended format – both offline and online. Today’s teachers must equip themselves with the ability to design and deliver learning in digital formats. This Community Service activity aims to equip teachers at SMPN 4 Mataram, Lombok with the knowledge and skills to develop Google Sites to support teaching and assessment. The activity was carried out at SMPN 4 Mataram, involving all 58 subject teachers and facilitated by 5 facilitators from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Mataram and SMPN 4 Mataram.
The series of activities followed a Flipped Learning Model (including out-class and in-class activities), which consisted of online learning through the Google Sites platform, material presentations, hands-on practice in developing Google Sites, independent tasks, and mentoring. The results showed that the target participants had acquired knowledge about Google Sites and were capable of developing content for their respective subjects’ teaching and assessment. It is recommended that, building on the momentum of this activity, teachers continue to enhance their skills in developing learning and assessment materials through Google Sites. the full results can be found in the JPMPIPA journal.
