The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Mataram continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing the quality of education in the region. From January to August 2025, Dr. Ahmad Junaidi, a lecturer in English Education at FKIP Unram, served as the main instructor in an English Teacher Training Program held in North Lombok Regency (KLU), supported by funding from Gugah Nurani Indonesia (GNI)
The training was attended by 15 English teachers from various schools across North Lombok Regency. Over the course of 20 sessions, the teachers received instruction on creative pedagogy, strategies for creating engaging classroom environments, and techniques to motivate students in English language learning. Each participant was also provided with teaching materials that could be directly implemented in their classroom practices.

Interestingly, the program also involved students as teaching assistants. The participation of FKIP Unram students provided prospective educators with the opportunity to develop their teaching skills through direct practice while simultaneously enriching their professional experience in the field.
Through this initiative, FKIP Unram reaffirms its role as a strategic partner in teacher capacity development and the enhancement of education quality in the region, particularly in North Lombok Regency.
