
The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Mataram, has officially established international collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The signing ceremony was held on-site at the FKIP Building, University of Mataram, and was attended by leaders of both institutions, faculty members, and student representatives.
This collaboration encompasses various areas, including academic development and joint research, faculty and student exchanges, as well as capacity building in education, particularly in learning innovation and language teaching. The signing of the MOA is expected to open wider opportunities for the academic community of FKIP University of Mataram to expand international networks and strengthen the faculty’s reputation on the global stage.

In his remarks, the Dean of FKIP University of Mataram emphasized that the collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA is a strategic step to enhance the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. “This collaboration serves as a gateway for cross-national knowledge development and the enhancement of both faculty and student competencies, thereby enabling FKIP to be more competitive in the global era,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the representative of Universiti Teknologi MARA expressed appreciation for the establishment of this collaboration and conveyed the hope that the synergy created would generate innovation and tangible contributions to the field of education, both in Indonesia and Malaysia.
The signing of this MOA serves as concrete evidence of FKIP University of Mataram’s commitment to strengthening sustainable international collaboration, while at the same time inspiring students to actively participate in academic and research programs at the global level.
