Ahmad Junaidi, M.A, Ph.D.
Ahmad Junaidi, PhD obtained his doctorate title from Monash University in 2022, with thesis on the Vygotskian sociocultural approach in researching teacher education. He completed his masters’ degree at University of Adelaide, researching the linguistics contribution to English teaching. He also presented talks and papers on critical English pedagogy in five countries (US, Australia, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia), cementing his serious interest on the topic.
Born and raised in Lombok, he now serves as advisors in several social organisations on the island, and the founder of Jage Kastare Foundation, a local volunteer-powered youth organisation. For his social work, he was granted Community Solution Program leader organised by US Department of State in 2015, where he interned at Chicago Youth Centre. He joined the Community Solution Summit on Humanitarian Crisis Response in Romania 2023, and currently supervising two student clubs at his university to spread the energy of social activism in universities.
