Mataram, October 8, 2024 – The Physics Education Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Mataram has successfully achieved “Excellent” accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Education (LAMDIK) in 2024. This achievement is a recognition of the continuous commitment and efforts to enhance the quality of education, research, and community service within the Physics Education Program.
This “Excellent” accreditation was attained after undergoing a rigorous evaluation process, covering various aspects such as the curriculum, faculty quality, learning facilities, and graduate achievements. This result not only proves that the Physics Education Program is able to meet high-quality standards, but also serves as motivation to continuously improve the quality of education to be more relevant to the needs of society and the workforce.
The Head of the Physics Education Program stated that this achievement is the result of the hard work of the entire academic community, including lecturers, students, and educational staff. “We are very grateful and proud of this achievement. This ‘Excellent’ accreditation is the result of collaboration and shared commitment to continuously provide quality education that can produce outstanding graduates who are ready to compete both nationally and internationally,” he said.
With this “Excellent” accreditation, the Physics Education Program at FKIP UNRAM is more confident in pursuing its vision and mission to become a leading center of education and research in physics and physics education. This also marks the beginning of continued innovation in offering a curriculum that is more adaptive to technological developments and the demands of the future educational landscape.
Students and graduates are expected to feel more confident in pursuing their education in the Physics Education Program, as the quality of education they receive has been recognized at the national level.
With the achievement of this “Excellent” accreditation, the Physics Education Program at FKIP Universitas Mataram is even more committed to maintaining and improving the quality of education provided, as well as continuing to innovate in facing global challenges.
