To enhance the quality of the university’s three pillars of higher education, the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP) of Universitas Mataram conducted a series of Internal Quality Audits (AMI) from 27 October to 7 November 2025. The audits covered all study programs within FKIP Unram and focused on evaluating the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI).

Throughout the AMI process led by LPMPP, the Quality Assurance Unit (GPM) of FKIP Unram served as the main facilitator for the study programs. The GPM provided technical support, guidance, and assistance to ensure each study program could prepare documents and supporting evidence in accordance with LPMPP audit standards.

The assistance provided by GPM included aligning AMI instruments, supporting the preparation of reports, collecting data, and conducting pre-audit checks to assess the readiness of each study program. This support helped ensure that all study programs fully understood the audit workflow and could follow the AMI procedures in a systematic and effective manner.

The audit, held in the Meeting Room on the third floor of FKIP Unram, was carried out by LPMPP auditors who conducted verification and validation of documents related to the three pillars of higher education. The Education pillar included curriculum, learning activities, and academic services. The Research pillar covered research productivity, publications, and scientific collaboration. The Community Service pillar assessed program implementation and the impact of community engagement activities.

During the audit process, GPM FKIP acted as a liaison between the auditors and the study programs, ensuring smooth coordination during interviews, clarification sessions, and the submission of supporting evidence. This facilitation also helped the study programs better understand LPMPP’s quality standards and improve their quality assurance documentation in accordance with university regulations.

The Head of GPM FKIP stated that the support provided was not only aimed at helping study programs complete the annual audit but also at strengthening a long-term culture of quality. “GPM is at the forefront of ensuring that every study program consistently implements quality assurance systems. The AMI conducted by LPMPP is an important moment for performance evaluation and continuous improvement,” he said.

Throughout the AMI process, collaboration between LPMPP, GPM FKIP, and the study programs ran smoothly. GPM also provided initial recommendations to the study programs based on field findings, which will be followed up after LPMPP releases its official audit report.

As a follow up, GPM FKIP will prepare a support report and facilitate the monitoring of improvement recommendations within the study programs. These efforts are expected to strengthen academic governance, boost research productivity, and improve the quality of community service across all FKIP study programs.

Through its active support in the AMI conducted by LPMPP, GPM FKIP Unram reinforces its role as a strategic partner in driving a strong culture of quality. Moving forward, GPM will continue to strengthen collaboration and enhance its quality assurance services to ensure continuous quality improvement within FKIP.
