Prof. Drs. Agus Abhi Purwoko is a highly educated chemist with a diverse academic background. He began his academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education from IKIP Malang, Indonesia. He then pursued further studies in Chemistry at SUNY Binghamton in the United States, where he completed both his Master’s and Doctorate degrees. His Master’s thesis focused on investigating the lowest excited states in (arane)M9Co)3 complexes, demonstrating his early research interest in complex chemistry. For his doctoral research, Dr. Purwoko delved into the photochemistry of (Pz”)M(CO)2 complexes in saturated hydrocarbon solutions, showcasing his expertise in photochemical reactions and their applications in organic chemistry. Dr. Agus Abhi Purwoko’s academic journey highlights his dedication to advancing knowledge in chemistry, particularly in the realms of complex chemistry and photochemistry, enriched by his international academic experiences at SUNY Binghamton.
