Suralaga, East Lombok — Junaidi, S.Pd., M.Pd., a lecturer from the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Mataram, once again demonstrated his active role in advancing education. This time, he was entrusted as an assessor in the accreditation visitation of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions in Suralaga District, East Lombok Regency.
The assignment was based on the Decree of the Head of the National Accreditation Board for Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary Education (BAN PDM) of West Nusa Tenggara Province, Number 0010/BAN-PDM-NTB/SK/2025. From August 7 to 11, 2025, Junaidi conducted visitations at two institutions: RA Azzikri Lendang Batu and TK IT Tahfidz Qur’an Insan Cendekia.
The visitation process was not limited to evaluating documents and facilities but also served as a forum for dialogue with teachers, principals, and school administrators. Through this process, the assessor provided valuable input and recommendations to strengthen the quality of PAUD services in accordance with national standards.
“The quality of early childhood education is crucial for laying the foundation of children’s development. This visitation is expected to be a joint effort to continuously provide the best educational services,” said Junaidi.
The active involvement of FKIP UNRAM’s Mathematics Education lecturers in activities such as this reflects the university’s real contribution to supporting the improvement of educational quality across all levels, including early childhood education.
