Lombok, October 17, 2025 — A lecturer from the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Mataram (Unram), Mr. Junaidi, M.Pd., participated as an assessor for the Provincial School Accreditation Board (BAN-PDM) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) in a series of school accreditation visits. The visit took place from October 3 to 11, 2025, covering four schools: SD Negeri Karang Baru, SD Mas NW Benyer, SDIT Mahfuzhotul Quran, and MTs Nur Al Latif Mengkudu, located across East Lombok and Central Lombok.

In this assignment, Mr. Junaidi collaborated with Mr. M. Isnain, M.Pd., a fellow lecturer from the University of Muhammadiyah Mataram, to conduct assessments and evaluations of the education quality standards in these schools. The visit served as a crucial component of the external quality assurance process, aimed at ensuring that educational practices meet national standards while also providing constructive recommendations for school improvement.

Mr. Junaidi, M.Pd., stated, “This accreditation visit provides a valuable opportunity to observe educational practices firsthand. Our role is not only to assess but also to offer feedback that can help schools enhance the quality of their learning. Collaborating with colleagues from the University of Muhammadiyah Mataram has enriched our perspectives in evaluating various aspects of education.”

This accreditation activity is expected to not only improve school quality but also serve as a platform for lecturers to share best practices and professional experiences in educational quality assurance. The active involvement of assessors in this process reflects a strategic effort to strengthen the quality of education in NTB in a tangible and sustainable way.
