Mataram, May 24, 2025 — The Sociology Education Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Mataram, successfully held the peak event of its 10th Dies Natalis celebration on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the FKIP Building A Courtyard. This year’s theme, “Weaving Togetherness, Achieving Excellence, Shaping Critical Generations,” reflects the program’s commitment to collaboration and critical education. The event was officially opened by Dr. Saprizal Hadisaputra, M.Sc., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FKIP UNRAM, who praised the collaborative spirit within the program and encouraged students to remain reflective and critical of social dynamics.
Attended by the FKIP leadership, department heads, and staff, the event underscored institutional support for Sociology Education’s continued development. The celebration included a morning fun walk with faculty, students, and alumni, a tribute to retiring senior lecturer Drs. Muhammad Ilyas, M.A., and a festive atmosphere filled with performances, a creative bazaar, and door prizes.
This milestone not only commemorates a decade of the program’s journey but also reinforces its role in shaping graduates who are critical thinkers and socially responsive.
