Jambi, June 19, 2025 — A proud achievement has once again been secured by a student of the Sociology Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Mataram (UNRAM), at the national level. In the prestigious 2025 National Student Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQM) competition held at Universitas Jambi from June 16 to 21, Faenal earned 2nd place in the Hifzhil Qur’an (20 Juz, Male Category) competition. Faenal showcased exceptional memorization skills of the Qur’an, demonstrating remarkable precision, fluency, and mastery of tajwid. His outstanding performance in the final round earned him second place nationally among the best young hafiz from across Indonesia. The Dean of FKIP Universitas Mataram expressed appreciation and pride in this accomplishment. “Faenal’s achievement is solid proof that FKIP University of Mataram students are capable of competing at the national level in religious fields. We fully support the development of our students’ potential not only academically but also spiritually and in character,” he stated. This accomplishment is expected to inspire other students to continue striving for excellence and bring pride to University of Mataram on both national and international stages.
