Mataram, 17 November 2025 — Another proud achievement has been made by the Sociology Education Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Mataram. A student, Roni Hidayat, secured First Place in the 2025 selection of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) Ambassador for West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.
After a series of rigorous selection stages, Roni was officially named the winner and will represent NTB at the national level in Jakarta alongside delegates from 38 other provinces. During the awarding night, he delivered his ideas with confidence, offering fresh and compelling insights.
This accomplishment was warmly welcomed by the academic community of the University of Mataram, especially the Sociology Education Study Program. The achievement highlights not only the academic and non-academic capabilities of the student but also reflects the Study Program’s strong commitment to nurturing students to excel, engage in organizations, and participate in character development activities.
The Coordinator of the Sociology Education Study Program expressed appreciation for this achievement, noting that Roni’s success serves as encouragement for other students to continue creating, contributing, and participating in positive events at both regional and national levels.
