Mataram, 17 November 2025 — A student from the Sociology Education Study Program at Universitas Mataram has once again achieved national recognition. Paenal Juni Harian secured First Place in the Scientific Writing category at the national event EUFORIA 2025, organized by the Sociology Student Association (HIMASOS) of Universitas Sriwijaya.
The competition, which carried the theme “Technology for All: AI and Educational Inclusivity in the Digital Era,” attracted participants from universities across Indonesia. The event ran from late August to November 2025 and included abstract submission, full paper evaluation, final presentations, and the awarding ceremony.
Paenal emerged as the winner after a rigorous selection process. His scientific paper received high praise for its originality, analytical depth, and relevance to technological advancements and issues of inclusive education in Indonesia. During the final round, he delivered an outstanding presentation before the panel of judges.
With this achievement, Paenal received a monetary award and a certificate of recognition. His victory also strengthened the reputation of the Sociology Education Study Program at Universitas Mataram as an academically competitive program at the national level.
