Mataram, April 25, 2024 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Mataram University (UNRAM) held a Halal Bihalal (post-Ramadan gathering) and Farewell Ceremony for Prospective Hajj Pilgrims on Wednesday, April 25th, 2024, at the Aula Gedung A FKIP UNRAM. All members of the FKIP UNRAM academic community, including administrators, instructors, support personnel, and prospective hajj pilgrims who will travel to Makkah this year, attended the ceremony.

The reading of the holy verse from the Qur’an by Aulia opens this occasion and inspires a feeling of service and spiritual significance. The UNRAM FKIP Dean, Drs. H. Then Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., continued with his speech, expressing his prayers and aspirations for the congregation’s candidates’ seamless and easy Hajj worship. All those present were also invited by the dean to consider the sacred passages found in the Qur’an.

TGH. Mahdi Wahyudi SQ, Lc. MA. then gave a speech and led prayer at the event, reminding the audience of the blessing of being a follower of Prophet Muhammad SAW and the significance of upholding piety. To inspire the aspiring hajj pilgrims, he also related the tale of Abu Bakar, a model of faith and remarkable charity.

The event came to a close with prayers for the prospective pilgrims' easy and pleasant hajj journey. In addition, the dean of FKIP UNRAM shared his expectations for the growth and progress of the institution. This touching occasion blessed the entire FKIP UNRAM academic community and offered inspiration to those considering making the pilgrimage to Makkah.
