In his opening speech, the Dean of FKIP Mataram University, Drs. Then Zulkifli, Ph.D., expressed his pride in the Sociology Education Study Program for achieving superior accreditation from Lamdik. He attributed this success to various parties' hard work and collaboration and encouraged students to reflect this superior status in all academic and non-academic endeavors. The event, held at the Dome Building of Mataram University, was attended by students, lecturers, and university staff.

Dr. Aidy Furqan emphasized the crucial link between the quality of education and human resource development. He introduced several strategic programs by the NTB Education and Culture Service, including SMA Plus, which allows students to study flexibly through an online system. This program aims to provide educational solutions for students abroad, such as in Malaysia or Hong Kong. Dr. Aidy also stressed the importance of health and the economy as foundational pillars in human resource development, noting that education provides the initial foundation that enables people to manage their health better and improve their economic situation.

Dr. Ichsan Malik presented on "Human Resource Development and Peace," highlighting how conflict can impede human resource development. He explained that conflicts arise from differences in interests, race, identity, and failed relationships between people, manifesting as direct, structural, cultural, and ecological violence. Dr. Malik differentiated between negative peace, which is the absence of violence, and positive peace, which involves establishing a sound socio-political system, optimal defense, respect for human rights, and the principles of justice. The lecture concluded with a plaque and book presentation to Dr. Malik, who reciprocated with his publications on conflict and peace. The public lecture ended with the handover of plaques and books from the Sociology Education lecturer to Dr. Malik, who also gave his books on conflict and peace as a memento.

This anniversary event was a celebration and a significant occasion to foster the spirit of togetherness and enhance the quality of education within the Sociology Education Study Program at Mataram University. The achievement of SUPERIOR accreditation is expected to enable the program to continue producing competent graduates ready to contribute to national development.
