Mataram, May 16, 2024 – The Dean of FKIP Unram held a significant meeting with representatives from the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Quality Improvement of Teachers and Education Personnel in Language (SEAQIL) to explore opportunities for collaboration on organizing international conferences. This meeting, which took place in the FKIP Unram Meeting Room, was attended by the dean, deputy dean, and SEAQIL representatives.

In his opening remarks, the Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his gratitude and optimism regarding this collaboration opportunity. “We see great potential in collaborating with SEAQIL, particularly in enhancing the quality of education and the capabilities of our lecturers and students through international forums such as this conference,” he stated.

The meeting focused on several vital agendas, including discussions on conference themes relevant to educational development in Southeast Asia, the technical implementation of the conference, and the contributions of each party in ensuring the event’s success. Dr. Siti Hajar, Executive Director of SEAQIL, welcomed this initiative and expressed her readiness to collaborate.

Additionally, the meeting covered potential activities to be integrated into the conference schedule, aiming to maximize benefits for participants and strengthen collaboration networks within the education sector. An initial agreement from the meeting was to form a small team comprising representatives from FKIP Unram and SEAQIL.

This team will be responsible for developing a detailed concept and work plan to ensure that the conference's technical and substantive aspects are meticulously prepared. The meeting concluded with a group photo and the signing of a memorandum of understanding, symbolizing the commencement of collaboration between FKIP Unram and SEAQIL.
