Mataram, July 22, 2024 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of the University of Mataram held an accreditation field assessment for the Master of Indonesian Language Education Study Program on July 19-20, 2024. This activity was organized by the Education Self Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK) and was attended by various components of dean officials, study program officials, postgraduates, and full support from the rectorate and its staff.

The event began with an opening accompanied by Indonesia Raya and Mars FKIP Unram songs, creating a solemn and spirited atmosphere. Next, remarks from the Rector of the University of Mataram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., represented by Vice Rector of Academic Affair, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si. In his remarks, Vice Rector conveyed several important points from the Rector of Universitas Mataram, including the Rector’s commitment to be present at every field assessment of Unram study programs. WR1 also apologized because the Rector could not attend because he was receiving an award as the 3rd best BLU university.

In addition, WR1 welcomed the LAMDIK assessors, Prof. Dr. Kisyani Laksono, M.Hum. from Surabaya State University and Dr. Miftahulkhairah Anwar, S.S., M.Hum., M.Phil. from Jakarta State University. He also emphasized that accreditation is one of the main targets in the Rector's priority work program, the importance of accreditation in the framework of heading towards Legal Entity State Universities (PTNBH) as mandated by the government, and the development of excellent international-based programs by Unram.

The speech was continued by Prof. Dr. Kisyani Laksono, M.Hum. as the LAMDIK assessor. She stated that the field assessment is not something scary and the assessor only wants to confirm what has been uploaded and there may be programs that want to be added. Prof. Dr. Kisyani invited all parties to learn together and share knowledge in university management. She also appreciated the achievements made by Unram and hoped that all field assessment activities would run smoothly. This field assessment lasts for two days with an agenda that has been set by the assessor. All parties hope that this activity can run smoothly and produce satisfactory accreditation, so that FKIP University of Mataram can continue to contribute to improving the quality of education in Indonesia. With this activity, FKIP University of Mataram hopes to strengthen its commitment in achieving the best accreditation and continue to innovate in the development of international-based study programs.(ron)
