Mataram – As one of the efforts to support the improvement of the quality of research in the academic environment, the Department of Education, FKIP, University of Mataram held an activity “Higher Education Grant Research Proposal Clinic in 2025”. This event took place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the FKIP Unram Building Hall. With high enthusiasm, this activity was attended by lecturers from the Department of Education and several students.
The main speaker in this activity is a young professor who has been widely recognized in the academic world, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Dewa Gede Hendra Divayana, S.Kom., M.Kom., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., APEC.Eng. He is an academic from Ganesha University of Education who has an outstanding track record in the field of research and management of international research grants.
In her presentation, Prof. Divayana emphasized the importance of preparing proposals that have novelty, relevance, and the potential for real contributions to the development of science and society. “A good proposal must have a strong theoretical basis, clear methodology, and measurable objectives. In addition, it is important to be able to link research with national or global priority programs,” she said.


This activity did not only focus on theory, but also provided intensive mentoring to the participants. In the clinic session, participants had the opportunity to present their draft research proposals and receive direct feedback from Prof. Divayana. This approach is expected to provide in-depth insight so that the proposals submitted have a greater chance of passing the Dikti grant selection.
One of the participants, Dr. Nurul Hidayah, M.Pd., expressed her impression of this activity. "This is a very valuable experience. The feedback I received really opened my mind on how to make a more competitive proposal," she said.
The Dean of FKIP Universitas Mataram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., in his speech expressed his appreciation to Prof. Divayana for her willingness to share knowledge and experience. He also emphasized that activities like this will continue to be encouraged to improve the competence of lecturers in producing quality research.
With the successful implementation of the Higher Education Research Proposal Clinic Year 2025, it is hoped that the young lecturers of FKIP Universitas Mataram will be more motivated to produce superior, innovative, and impactful research proposals. The spirit of collaboration and commitment in the world of research is the key to bringing this institution to a higher level.(foe)
