The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Mataram University held a briefing on Field Experience Practice (PPL 2) for students of the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) Prospective Teachers Phase 2 Year 2024. This event was held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, in the Hall of Building A FKIP University of Mataram.

This activity was attended by the Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Then Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., and the Head of Unram PPG Study Program, Dr. H. Dadi Setiadi, M.Sc., together with PPL students.

Report of the Head of PPG Study Program
In his report, Dr. H. Dadi Setiadi, M.Sc., said that PPL 2 will involve 58 students spread across 10 partner schools, consisting of 5 junior high schools and 5 high schools. This placement is designed to provide real experience in teaching practice while preparing students to become competent professional teachers.

Message from the Dean of FKIP Unram
In his speech, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., motivated the students to carry out PPL as well as possible. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the good name of self and alma mater while undergoing activities in partner schools. "Prepare yourself well, take care of your health, and show dedication as a prospective professional teacher," he said.

This debriefing activity is an important first step for FKIP Unram PPG students in implementing the knowledge that has been obtained during the lecture period. With this provision, it is hoped that students can make a positive contribution during the PPL and establish themselves as excellent educators.
