Mataram, September 15, 2023 – Student of the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), University of Mataram (UNRAM), Ali Suria, won a brilliant achievement by winning first place in the National Village Service Action Plan Competition in 2023. This achievement not only confirmed his position as one of the outstanding students, but also made UNRAM proud at the national level. In this competition, Ali, along with his team from FEB and Faculty of Animal Science, worked well together in presenting their proposals.

Bakti Desa Nasional 2023 or commonly abbreviated as BADENAS is a competition for Indonesian students by serving the community organized by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Public Health Student Family (BEM KM FKM UNSRI). This BADENAS activity aims to invite all students in Indonesia to unite and share benefits to rural communities as an application of the Tri Darma foundation, namely community service.

The Dean of FKIP UNRAM, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., was very proud of Ali Suria’s achievement. He stated, “Ali Suria’s achievement is clear evidence that FETT UNRAM students have extraordinary potential in making a positive contribution to society. We hope that this achievement will inspire other students to continue to excel and contribute to social life.”

Ali Suria himself said he was happy and grateful for this achievement. He hopes that his Action Plan proposal can be implemented soon to provide tangible benefits to village communities in need.

Ali Suria's brilliant achievement is not only an individual achievement, but also a UNRAM achievement and a motivation for other students to compete and make a positive impact on society through various competitions and other initiatives. May this achievement be the beginning of many great achievements in the future.
