Mataram, 5 October 2023 – Ririn Mardiana Saputri, a student of the Biology Education Study Program at FKIP Universitas Mataram(UNRAM), won 3rd place in the sub-theme of technology and digital revolution in the 11th PRISMA (Student Scientific Research Week) Scientific Writing Competition. This achievement not only confirmed his position as one of the outstanding students, but also made UNRAM proud at the national level. This is a proud achievement and encourages the spirit of excellence in academics and research. In this competition, Ririn, along with 2 members of her team from the faculty of agriculture, worked well in preparing scientific papers and presentations that amazed the jury, so that they could beat dozens of applicants from all public and private universities throughout Indonesia by winning 3rd place from the 5 best teams that passed to become finalists in the national scientific writing competition.
Prisma (Student Scientific Research Week) 11 is an annual agenda organized by the research center and student scientific studies of the faculty of agriculture, Brawijaya University In 2023 Prisma 11 designed and raised the theme “AGRIVOLUTION 5.0: An Award for Visionary and Intellectual People Oriented to Sustainable Transformation 5.0”. The Prisma 11 agenda spearheaded by the Center for Research and Student Scientific Studies of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya is a great innovation in the world of writing where this event has been held for 11 years and is attended by hundreds of state universities throughout Indonesia and through this competition can also help and provide opportunities for all Indonesian students to exchange ideas.
The Dean of FETT UNRAM, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., expressed his pride, "I note that this achievement illustrates the extraordinary potential possessed by FETT UNRAM students in making a positive contribution to the world of research and society. I also hope that Ririn's achievement will inspire other students to achieve similar achievements and play an active role in helping to contribute innovative ideas in the form of scientific studies".
Ririn Mardiana Saputri herself feels happy and grateful for this achievement, and hopes that the contested work is not only in the form of writing but can be realized immediately to provide real benefits to the community and the world of research.
