Mataram, 7 December 2023 – To welcome the second batch of the Pre-Service Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) in 2023, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram (FKIP Unram) held training for lecturers, tutor teachers, and administrators. This event was held at the Golden Palace on December 7, 2023, and was officially opened by the Vice-Rector for General Affairs and Finance of the University of Mataram, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd
This training was attended by participants from various backgrounds, including lecturers at FKIP Unram, tutor teachers, and administrators involved in the implementation of Pre-Service PPG. The training participants seemed enthusiastic about taking part in a series of activities designed to improve their competencies and skills in facing the ever-growing dynamics of the world of education.
Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd. conveyed the importance of thorough preparation in facing Pre-Service PPG Batch 2. “Pre-Service PPG is not just a continuing education program, but also a strategic step to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. “Through this training, it is hoped that participants can gain an in-depth understanding of their duties and responsibilities as agents of change in the world of education,” said Prof. Sukardi.
The Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si. Ph.D. also expressed his appreciation for the active participation of the participants in this training. “By involving lecturers, tutor teachers, and administrators, we can create strong synergy to achieve a shared goal: improving the quality of education at the national level,” said the Dean of FKIP.
The training series covers various materials, starting from understanding the concept of Pre-Service PPG, the latest learning strategies, to managing educational administration. The first material was delivered by the Dean of FKIP Unram himself, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si. Ph.D., regarding regulations and policy flow of Pre-Service PPG. Then proceed with a briefing to the lecturers, tutor teachers, and administrators involved in the Pre-Service PPG.
The aspiration associated with this undertaking is directed toward the successful implementation of the second batch of Pre-Service PPG in 2023.
