Mataram, March 29, 2024 – The holy month of Ramadhan has arrived, and the atmosphere within the FKIP University of Mataram community is increasingly solemn with the auspicious activities: Ramadhan Campus. A series of events aimed at enhancing faith, purity, and strengthening the brotherhood among student organization leaders. The Dean of FKIP University of Mataram delivered a warm welcome, emphasizing the importance of maintaining security and order. “Student organization leaders have a significant responsibility to maintain peace in this community,” he stated firmly. The event commenced with an Islamic study session led by Ustadz Dr. Abdul Kadir Jailani, M.Pd., who is also the Advisor of the Al Kahfi Community. In his discourse, he highlighted the importance of increasing faith and piety during Ramadan and discussed significant events in Islamic history: the Revelation of the Quran.

The atmosphere became even more festive with the enthusiastic participation of attendees in the iftar (breaking of the fast) together. Amidst the rows of dining tables, laughter and shared stories were heard, adding warmth to the Ramadan atmosphere. Iftar is not just about food; it’s also a moment to share happiness and camaraderie. After iftar, the activities continued with congregational Tarawih prayers. A solemn atmosphere was felt as the rows of student organization leaders, and students gathered in orderly lines. Tarawih prayers are not just routine worship; they are also moments for contemplation and deepening spiritual connection with Allah S.W.T. Moreover, the Ramadan Campus also provided time for group Qur’anic recitation (tadarus). Under the full moon’s light, participants gathered to recite the Qur’an together. The melodious recitation of the Qur’an soothed hearts and enhanced the solemnity of the atmosphere. The event concluded with high spirits; we hoped to maintain the Ramadan spirit at every step. Ramadan Campus has successfully enhanced faith and piety and strengthened the brotherhood among student organization leaders at FKIP. It’s a valuable momentum in fortifying this campus’s Islamic foundation and unity.
