Mataram, June 21, 2024 – FKIP Unram again held a graduation ceremony in the June 2024 period at the DOM Building, University of Mataram. The solemn event was attended by the Dean of FKIP, all lecturers, stakeholders, and students who will be confirmed as graduates of undergraduate and master programs.

The graduation ceremony began with a warm opening, followed by the reading of the Dean’s Decree Number 2217/UN18.F5/HK/2024 by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Saprizal Hadisaputra, M.Sc. continued by the Head of each Department. In this graduation period, FKIP Unram graduated 327 graduates, with 65 of them achieving cumlaude predicate. The average study period for graduates is 58 months.

The Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. H. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D. officially inaugurated the graduates, giving appreciation for their academic achievements. In his speech, the Dean conveyed a number of important messages to the graduates.

In his speech, the Dean of FKIP Unram emphasized the importance of appreciating the hard work of the administration who had prepared all matters since long ago. He reminded the students that straight intentions as well as endeavors and prayers are the keys to achieving success. Good intentions set in motion efforts and prayers, which will help you achieve your goals.

The Dean invited students to prove their abilities in the community, not just in WhatsApp groups. He also emphasized the importance of balancing effort and trust in God, and reminded us that there is no instant success. All achievements require a process and a lot of effort.

In addition, the Dean emphasized the importance of literacy and numeracy, especially for prospective teachers, to improve the ability of elementary school children. He also encouraged graduates to keep abreast of developments after graduation, seek information about scholarships, and strive to be independent so as not to burden their parents.

The dean gave practical advice on how to look at graduation, suggesting not to overdo the makeup and to keep the look simple. He closed his speech with the hope that the graduates will remain optimistic and successful in living a new life after graduating from campus, and reminded the importance of intention, effort, and prayer in every step of life.

The student representative, I Gede Perdana Putra Narayana, M.Pd., the best graduate of the June period from the Master of English Education Study Program with a GPA of 3.97 Cumlaude, conveyed his message and impressions at the event. He expressed his respect and gratitude to the Dean of FKIP, all lecturers, and those present. She expressed her deep appreciation for the patience, dedication, and guidance that had been given during her studies, as well as the knowledge that would be very useful for the future.

Narayana also urged all students to keep their spirits up. Education is a continuous process, and graduating from this university is just one stage in life. He emphasized the responsibility of graduates to share their knowledge with society and to convince them that anything is possible.

Students believe that their job is to inspire others to grow and maximize their potential. Thus, in the future, they will be able to find solutions to various challenges that may be faced.

Concluding his speech, Narayana shared a quote from Dr. David R. Hawkins, a medical doctor and consciousness researcher, from his book titled "Power vs. Force". The quote emphasizes that the more we help, the more we can help; the more we love, the more we can love. He urges everyone to do their best and leave the results to the Source of Life, which can be referred to as God, Buddha, or any other name according to one's faith.

Narayana concluded his speech with thanks and encouragement for everyone to do their best and leave the results to the Source of Life.

The graduation ceremony for the June 2024 period of FKIP Mataram University went smoothly and was full of meaning.
