Mataram, October 7, 2024 – Education is the main foundation in the development of a nation, and good quality education is an important requirement to create a superior generation. One of the efforts made to improve the quality of education in Indonesia is through collaboration between various parties, including the government, academics, and industry players. This initiative was proven successful in the Erlangga Edu Day event that took place in Mataram, which brought together various elements to discuss and strengthen the education sector in Indonesia.
The Erlangga Edu Day event was attended by hundreds of participants, including principals, teachers throughout Mataram city, students, and lecturers at FKIP Unram. The big theme of this event is “Innovation and Collaboration for Quality Education,” which is expected to provide inspiration and solutions to the educational challenges faced today. This event is a form of collaboration between FKIP Unram and Erlangga publishers. In one of the event sessions, there was also an MoA and IA signing activity between FKIP Unram and Erlangga publishers. One of the most interesting moments in this event was the keynote speaker session filled by Shahnaz Haque, a familiar face in the world of national television. In this session, she gave a public lecture about her experience in the field of education as well as providing motivation to the principals and teachers who attended the public lecture.
The Head of the Mataram City Education Office, M. Yusuf, also gave a warm welcome to the event. He stated that collaboration between the government, academics, and industry players is key to achieving the goal of improving the quality of education. “We are committed to supporting efforts to improve the quality of education in Mataram City. Collaboration like this is very important to achieve that goal,” he said.
M. Yusuf added that the local government is always open to collaborating with various parties to create educational programs that benefit the community. He also hopes that activities such as Erlangga Edu Day can be held regularly so that educators always get the latest information and technology updates.
