Mataram – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of University of Mataram held a graduation procession for the Master Program (S2) and Bachelor Program (S1) for the November 2024 Period. The event which took place on November 19, 2024 was held solemnly at the Dome Building of the University of Mataram, attended by graduates and faculty leaders.
A total of 315 graduates were officially released in this graduation ceremony, with 52 of them achieving cum laude predicate. The average study period of graduates reached 54 months, with an average Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.59, reflecting the high academic quality in FKIP University of Mataram. The Dean of FKIP, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., in his speech congratulated the graduates on their outstanding achievements. “This graduation is not only a symbol of academic success, but also the beginning of your journey to contribute to society. Be educators and leaders who are able to bring positive changes,” the Dean advised the graduates.
The reading of the Decree (SK) of graduates was carried out by the Vice Dean I of FKIP, Prof. Dr. Saprizal Hadisaputra, M.Sc., then continued by the head of each department who also congratulated the graduates. The event was also colored by the speech of student representatives delivered by Iin Mahlia F., a graduate of Master of Basic Education with a GPA of 3.87. In her speech, Iin expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the support of lecturers, family, and friends during her studies.
This solemn graduation procession marks an important milestone for FKIP graduates of University, of Mataram as well as a moment of pride for the hard work and academic achievements that have been achieved. Hopefully the graduates can become educators and professionals who are able to bring positive changes in various fields of education and the wider community.(thor)
