Mataram – The English Education S1 Study Program of FKIP University of Mataram conducted a field assessment by the Education Self-Accreditation Institute (LAMDIK) on November 29-30, 2024. This assessment is an important part of FKIP University of Mataram’s efforts to achieve superior accreditation, with the full support of the university leadership and faculty.
The event began with remarks from the Rector of Universitas Mataram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., who expressed his appreciation to the LAMDIK assessors, H. Mokhamad Syaifudin, M.Ed., Ph.D. (UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya) and Dr. Lulu Laela Amalia, M.Pd. (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia). In his speech, the Rector explained the various achievements of the University of Mataram, including the transformation to a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH), acceleration of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and strengthening quality on the way to a world-class university.
“We have made various innovations, such as revamping laboratories, introducing a paperless administration system, and increasing the number of professors in a short period of time. All of this is the result of collective hard work and continuous improvement design. We ask for direction and input from the assessor team to ensure we can continue to improve the quality of education at the University of Mataram,” said Prof. Bambang.
The first assessor, H. Mokhamad Syaifudin, M.Ed., Ph.D., said that the main task of the assessor team was to confirm the suitability of the data in the forms and self-evaluation reports (LED) with the real conditions in the field. "We do not make decisions, but work together with the study program implementation unit to achieve the expected accreditation goals," he said.
Dr. Lulu Laela Amalia, M.Pd., as the second assessor, added, "We are here to ensure this process goes well and provides results that are in line with expectations. We appreciate the warm welcome and hope that this assessment will provide great benefits for the development of the study program."
This field assessment activity is part of the FKIP strategy to ensure that all study programs achieve superior accreditation. The Dean of FKIP , Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., stated that the faculty continues to be committed to improving the quality of education, research, and services.
With a strong spirit of togetherness and solidarity, FKIP Universitas Mataram is optimistic that this assessment will become a momentum to strengthen academic quality, support the acceleration of IKU, and realize the goal of becoming a world-class university.
