Mataram, 25 November 2025 The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the University of Mataram (FKIP Unram) held a Finalization and Ratification Meeting for Academic and Non-Academic Supporting Documents at Prime Park Hotel on Tuesday, 25 November 2025. This strategic initiative marks an important milestone in strengthening academic and non-academic governance within FKIP Unram, while supporting its efforts to become an excellent, professional, and globally competitive faculty.

A total of eight key documents were officially ratified during the meeting, including:

  1. Internal Quality Assurance Standards (SPMI) Policy Document,

  2. Internal Quality Assurance Standards (SPMI) for Education,

  3. Internal Quality Assurance Standards (SPMI) for Research,

  4. Internal Quality Assurance Standards (SPMI) for Community Service,

  5. Internal Quality Assurance Standards (SPMI) for Non-Academic Affairs,

  6. Academic Guidelines for 2025,

  7. Scientific Writing Manual, and

  8. Risk Management Report.

In his remarks, the Chair of the FKIP Senate emphasized the importance of dedication and commitment from the academic community in building a sustainable quality assurance system. “We serve this institution wholeheartedly. Let us dedicate our time and best efforts for the advancement of the faculty,” he said with enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., highlighted that every policy and document produced must refer to higher-level regulations and standards. “These documents are crucial and must be ratified immediately as guidelines for delivering academic and non-academic services within FKIP. With this ratification, we hope to see improved graduate quality and enhanced faculty services,” he affirmed.

The event served not only as an administrative process but also as a collective reflection on the direction of quality development within FKIP Unram. The ratification of these eight strategic documents represents a concrete step in ensuring that quality assurance systems run effectively, transparently, and sustainably across all faculty units.

This initiative aligns with FKIP Unram’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 16 (Strong Institutions), by strengthening governance, accountability, and institutional integrity. Through collaboration, consistency, and shared commitment, FKIP Unram continues to reinforce its role as a center of impactful, excellent, and globally competitive education.
