Mataram, 29 November 2025 — The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Mataram successfully held the Peak Event of its 44th Dies Natalis, carrying the theme “Synergy of the FKIP University of Mataram Academic Community: Spreading Science and Technology, Cultivating Values, Creating Impact for the Nation.” The celebration took place in the courtyard of Building A at FKIP Unram and brought together university leaders, the academic community, students, alumni, and the general public in a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere.
The event began early in the morning with a Fun Run and Run Walk, joined by hundreds of participants ranging from lecturers and students to education staff and the surrounding community. These activities symbolized FKIP’s spirit of wellness, collaboration, and solidarity. Throughout the event, participants enjoyed live performances, a creative product bazaar, and door prizes featuring exciting gifts such as bicycles, washing machines, refrigerators, and printers.
In his committee report, Hapipi, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph.D., explained that the 44th Dies theme reflects FKIP Unram’s identity as an institution grounded in synergy and collaboration. “Synergy is key. FKIP is committed to moving forward with the community through three main pillars: spreading science, cultivating values, and creating impact for the nation,” he said. In addition to academic and sports activities, the celebration also featured a cooking competition, blood donation, and social activities as a form of FKIP’s care for the community.


The Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., expressed his pride in the collective achievements of the academic community. “FKIP continues to grow and innovate, and we are now preparing for international accreditation. We are actively engaging with partners across the country and abroad to strengthen our collaborative networks. My gratitude goes to all lecturers, staff, and students for their extraordinary work. Let us continue to uphold unity and the spirit of collaboration,” he said.
The Rector of the University of Mataram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., who attended and delivered remarks, conveyed his appreciation for the strong sense of togetherness shown by FKIP. “Today I am truly delighted. FKIP was built on a foundation of strong synergy. Over its 44-year journey, FKIP has produced 26 professors and has become the faculty with the highest number of excellent study programs at Unram. Achieving excellent accreditation is not easy, but it is the result of our shared hard work. Happy 44th Dies Natalis, and continue to be a national benchmark,” he stated, earning enthusiastic applause.
This 44th anniversary celebration reaffirms FKIP Unram’s commitment to spreading knowledge, nurturing values, and creating meaningful impact for the nation. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). FKIP Unram remains determined to advance quality education that brings local impact and global competitiveness.
