Boniesta Zulandha Melani, M.A., Ph.D.
Boniesta Zulandha Melani is a senior lecturer in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in the Department of English Education, University of Mataram. After She earned her bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of Mataram in 1999. Under the Australian government sponsorship, she completed her master’s degree in TESOL Studies from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2008. She is funded by a Fulbright scholarship to pursue a Doctoral degree in TESOL at the University of Central Florida, USA. For her Ph.D. dissertation project, she is working on a corpus-based study on the frequency of English idiomatic multiwords in academic language. She is passionate about second language studies and her research interest particularly focuses on second language vocabulary learning and assessment. Her main purpose is to contribute to promoting the academic development of second language education.
