Dewi Satria Elmiana is a lecturer in the English Education Study Program at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram, where he has been since 2020. She received Bachelor of Education from Mataram University in 2011, and a Master of Education from the  Yogyakarta State University in 2014, then earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D)  in TESOL  from the Queen’s University of Belfast  in  December 2019.  Dewi currently involves in teaching English curriculum analysis , textbook and material development, and general English.

Her research interests span in the areas of visual literacy, English material development, and multicultural education. Much of her work has been on improving the understanding of English as a foreign language through visual images in school textbooks. Dewi  is the author of numerous  papers on the field of language education and  has given several invited talks both online and offline events, also, she is a member of  National Accreditation Board for School/ Madrasa ( BAN S/M) in West Nusa Tenggara Province since 2021.
