Hartati Suryaningsih is a Junior Lecturer in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram. She earned her Master Degree in Teaching English to the Speaker of Other Languages (TESOL) at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), USA. She was a Fulbright grantee in 2012 – 2014 and also the Indonesia English Language Study Program (IELSP) grantee in 2008 at Syracuse University, USA.  Besides teaching, she also actively participates as the member of Himpunan Penerjemah Indonesia (Association of Indonesian Translators). Her interests are in the areas of Language Assessment, Language and Identity, English Language Teaching, and Interpreting and Translation.
