Mataram, February 2, 2024 – A workshop on the governance of secretarial and financial administration of student organizations was successfully organized by the Student Representative Council of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (DPM FKIP UNRAM)(02/02/2024). As part of the Work Program of Field I (Reasoning and Scholarship), this activity was organized in the FKIP Unram at Auditorium D to improve knowledge, comprehension, and perceptual alignment in student organizations’ secretarial and financial administration. The number of participants from the workshop consisted of ormawa functionaries within the FKIP Unram environment, delegations from each ormawa, Ormawa Advisors, Vice Dean 2 for General and Financial Affairs, and Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs and Alumni, totaling 80 participants.
The Chairman of the Committee, Wage Fachri Jumadi, explained that this activity lasted for two days. On the first day, an official opening was held, followed by presentations from speakers. The first session’s speaker, Dr. Muh. Makhrus, M.Pd., of the University of Mataram, covered administrative governance-related topics. In Session 2, the material presented was on financial governance with Dr. Santi Farmasari, S.Pd., M.Ed.TESOL from the University of Mataram, followed by a discussion session on the relevant work program procedures supporting the sustainability of the Faculty’s IKU (Key Performance Indicators) focusing on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), Interests and Talents, and Education. On the second day, the program presentation for each student organization of FKIP UNRAM was conducted, followed by a discussion session until the end.
This event was opened by Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Muh. Makhrus, M.Pd., who hoped this activity could enhance students' abilities in secretarial and financial administration of student organizations, such as drafting correspondence, funding proposals, and accountability reports.
"Hopefully, the knowledge and skills acquired from this workshop will be applied to student activities so that they can adhere to relevant regulations in letters, funding proposals, and accountability reports," he said. This activity is intended to raise the standard of financial and administrative governance in student groups, enabling them to function more effectively and adhere to legal requirements.
